Cass Helps (they/them) and Dayle Kennedy (she/her) live and work in East Vancouver with their two cats. They are trying to build a company that will sustain them as well as their community by using traceable grains and flours, locally produced salt, and the slow fermentation process that sourdough bread needs. There is something in the time and physicality of making sourdough hearkens back to a simpler way of life. As our attention spans diminish, sourdough is a slow, humbling process that requires practice and patience.
