RETAIL GROWTH MANAGER

WHO WE ARE

  • Coho Collective Kitchens is a Vancouver-based company that is poised to expand quickly across Canada. We have opened three shared-kitchens in the last two years supporting over 100 local food businesses. 

  • This year we opened our third, state-of-the-art 10,000 sqft facility in Strathcona that features a café / retail / pop-up event space with more plans in the works

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • We are hiring a LEADER. We value your opinion and expect you to share and communicate them in a positive and respectful manner.

  • You will be primarily focused on opening NEW Coho retail opportunities, locations, and pop-up events. This role will be critical in the identification of opportunities, and the operationalization of these projects.

  • You will be working along the existing Coho retail team to help drive sales and maximize profitability within our established and first Café.

  • You will be working with our Marketing team to support the logistics and fulfillment of orders from our eCommerce Online Market

  • This role oversees the recruiting, training, growing and leading of a diverse team of high-performing employees

  • This role requires you to develop relationships with the Coho community of member companies that serve as our primary suppliers for our retail experiences

  • This role requires an understanding of local markets and works to determine business growth opportunities

  • You will work to deliver upon Coho’s brand and operational standards; ensuring the best in-store and online customer experience

  • You will be partnering with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Operations, and vendors to develop and prioritize experiences and sales initiatives

  • This role requires one to follow trends and market analyses in order to anticipate and adapt to incoming changes in the competitive market 

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have been a key member of a team opening a retail location or concept.

  • You understand the financials of running a restaurant business and are laser focused on profitability and efficiency

  • Familiarity with technical platforms required to run and grow food business (ex. POS programming, inventory control, financial forecasting, eCommerce backend support, Google Analytics, and more)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship management.

  • Experience with customer service in a retail business environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly with data entry.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Ability to show initiative and work in a fast paced, high growth, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to build and leverage strong cross-organizational relationships

  • Experience: 3 Years minimum of in a hospitality leadership role
